I left journalism and earned an MBA, thanks to a full-ride scholarship to the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management. That education provided a bridge to the business world – corporate marketing and operational issues, the value of data and meeting customer needs.
I’ve focused on financial services, higher education, nonprofits, IT, healthcare and law. Clients include names you know, like Canon, Dell EMC, Fidelity, Johns Hopkins University, Stanford Health Care and VMware, as well as startups and mid-sized firms. I’ve also written for all kinds of audiences – from CFOs who need help making million-dollar decisions to high school art students who would prefer to read as little as possible.
